MGE completed the design and PS&E for the replacement of seven recreational /snowmobile bridges located near Huntington Lake within the Sierra National Forest. The new bridges replaced structurally deficient log stringer bridges that had been removed from service. Two standard bridge lengths were selected and used for all seven locations. The new bridges were constructed on the existing horizontal alignments and consisted of glulam girders with glulam deck panels supported on concrete abutments.
