Historic Matthew Kilgore Cemetery
The City of Rancho Cordova acquired the historic Mathew Kilgore Cemetery located on Kilgore Road between Trade Center Drive and Sun Center Drive in August 2005. The City wanted to address long-term issues such as security, improving the existing roadway, improved landscaping, creating an entrance to the cemetery from Kilgore Road, and researching the feasibility of establishing a Rancho Cordova Cemetery District.
MGE Engineering was retained by the City of Rancho Cordova to provide engineering design for site improvements at the Cemetery. Civil/site improvements included: perimeter fencing, a small parking lot, a new encroachment to Kilgore Road, rehabilitation and extension of existing on-site paved paths, ash remains wall, public and service entries, storm drainage and minor grading. MGE also provided the civil and landscape architecture design services for over 3 acres of landscape and hardscape improvements to meet the needs of the City of Rancho Cordova, Kilgore Cemetery and its stakeholders, while protecting and promoting public safety.

The Sacramento Job Corps Center is committed to the vocational, academic and social skills development of each and every trainee.
Sacramento Job Corps Center is a large campus, located in a residential area of south Sacramento. The site was formerly the training academy for the California Highway Patrol. Through vocational skills training (VST) projects, almost all of the 54 buildings have been renovated. Six new vocational training buildings have been completed and both the male and female dormitory complexes are newly constructed additions. A third new dormitory was completed in 2003. This dorm is used as a transitional living setting for students who have completed their training and are in various stages of exiting the program. The dorms are attractively decorated. There is a recreational facility and gymnasium where trainees can participate in activities during their non-training hours.
Cambridge Park and Ride
