MGE completed the preliminary engineering, type selection, and final design and PS&E for this retaining wall in conjunction with roadway improvements along a portion of Redwood Road within the City of Oakland. The wall consisted of a soldier pile tieback anchor wall with reinforced concrete lagging. A colored, bonded grout finish as well as anti-graffiti coating was applied to color the wall and to preserve its appearance.
