MGE completed the bridge and approach roadway design and PS&E for this HBP-funded project. The replacement bridge consisted of a three-span, cast-in-place, post-tensioned concrete slab superstructure supported on concrete pier walls and driven concrete piles. The project included the design of 500-feet of approach roadway, and 900-feet of a paved two-lane detour road with a temporary bridge at Suisun Creek. MGE also designed permanent habitat for an endangered-species bat colony under the bridge.
