MGE completed the seismic retrofit analysis, retrofit strategy determination, and final design and PS&E for the seismic retrofit of this 534-foot, three-span, steel plate girder structure crossing the Rubicon River on Eleven Pines Road within the Eldorado National Forest. The bridge superstructure which is located approximately 110-feet above the Rubicon River, is supported on hollow concrete columns and spread footings founded on rock.
