As part of the Manzanita Corridor project within the City of Chico, MGE completed the design and PS&E of this new pedestrian/equestrian bridge crossing Big Chico Creek. This 103-foot single-span structure has a 12-foot clear width and consists of a prefabricated steel truss with a lightweight concrete deck, supported on reinforced concrete seat type abutments and founded on cast-in-drilled-hole concrete piles.
